This basemap contains the comprehensive statewide road centerlines dataset to serve the needs of the entire New Jersey GIS user community. Features are symbolized by route type with route numbers and road name labels. The service is published in NJ State Plane coordinates, NAD83, US Survey feet. Note to service users who incorporate service layer(s) into an application or published live map: The NJ Office of GIS, as basemap publisher and steward, provides early notification of changes that may affect use of the cached basemap service. To do this, we need contact name and email address for the service user, and name of the application or published live map consuming the service.
